List-o-matic (external): The original inspiration for this tool; generates CSS for formatting lists in a variety of forms.
From Pixy came a brilliant way of doing pure CSS rollovers that requires no pre-loading, switches from image to image as fast as is possible, and works in nearly any browser you might care to code against. Dan Cederholm expanded upon the idea, adding Stuart Langridge's accessible image replacement technique.
Unfortunately, the technique is non-trivial to implement. You should read the links above for some background, and then… in steps "The Amazing Rolloverer!"
Give The Amazing Rolloverer a series of images (like the one below) each with a combination of normal, hover, and active/selected states, with titles, links, and URLs for each, and Bam!.
